AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA REZONING CERTAIN PREMISES (ZONE CHANGE
CASE NO. Z 207 DON COKELEY) .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare that the change and amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance set forth below was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that
public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council. The City Council also finds that the
public necessity, convenience, and general welfare and good
zoning practice require that the following amendment and zone
change be made.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
19. 06. 010 of the Azusa Municipal Code and the Zoning Map referred
to therein the following described premises are hereby placed and
included in the R3 (b) (Multiple Family Residential) Zone, to wit:
"That certain property described in Exhibit
A attached hereto and made a part hereof. "
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and
declare that the change of zone for the property described herein
will not have a substantially adverse effect upon the environment
and the negative declaration has been prepared in accordance with
the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as amended and
the State Guidelines and is hereby approved and adopted by the
City Council.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

I, ADOLPH SOLIS, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.2O57 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 15th day of May , 1978. That,
thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 5th day of June , 1978,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None

Cerritos Avenue, Azusa
That portion of the east half of the southwest quarter of Section
2, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino meridian, in the
city of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, state of California, according
to the official plat of said land, filed in the District Land Office
on October 31, 1873, described as follows :
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said southwest quarter;
thence North 0° 12 ' 00" East along the easterly line of said South-
west quarter, a distance of 536 feet; thence North 88° 58 ' 57" West
573. 69 feet along a line which if prolonged would pass through a point
in the westerly line of said east half of said southwest quarter distant
North 0° 05 ' 12" East along said westerly line 565 feet from the
southwesterly corner of said east half; thence South 0° 06 ' 42" West
548. 61 feet to a point in the southerly line of said southwest quarter
distant South 89° 45 ' 25" West along said southerly line 572. 80 feet
from the point of beginning; thence North 89° 45 ' 25" East along said
southerly line 572 . 80 feet to said point of beginning.
EXCEPT therefrom the westerly 246 feet, measured along the southerly
line of said land.
ALSO EXCEPT therefrom the easterly 175 feet of the southerly 195 feet
of said land.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion of said land designated as Parcels 629 and
630, in final decree of condemnation entered in Superior Court Los
Angeles County, Case No. 719719 , a certified copy of which was re-
corded in book D-962 page 925, of Official Records of said county.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion of said land designated as Parcel No. 411,
in final decree of condemnation entered in Superior Court of Los Angeles
County, .Case No. 714455, a certified copy of which was recorded
in Book D-1022 page 358 , of Official Records of said County.
