AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA REZONING CERTAIN PREMISES
(THE ZONE CHANGE CASE NUMBER Z200 KARL
HOERTIG) .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:.
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare that the change and amendment to
the zoning ordinance set forth below was duly initiated
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and pub-
lished, that public hearings thereon were duly held by
the Planning Commission and by the City Council. The
City Council also finds that the public necessity, con-
venience, and general welfare and good zoning practice
require that the following amendment and change be made.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of
Section 19. 06. 010 of the Azusa Municipal Code and the zoning
map referred to therein the premises described in Exhibit
"A" to this Ordinance are hereby placed and included in the
R3b (Multiple Family Residential) zone.
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find
and declare that the change of zone for the property
described herein will not have a substantially adverse
effect upon the environment and that the negative declaration
has been prepared in accordance with the California Environ-
mental Quality Act of 1970 as amended and the State guide-
lines and is hereby approved and adopted by the City Council.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.

Azusa, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.
2047 , was regularly introduced and placed upon
its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 3rd, day of January , 1978. That there-
after, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 16thday of
January , 1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Arkison, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None

Legal Description
DESCRIPTION: COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
That portion of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 2, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino
Base Meridian, in the City of Azusa, described as follows :
Beginning at a point in the South line of said Section,
distant South 89° 45 ' 25" West 572. 80 feet from the South-
east corner of said Southwest quarter; thence South 89°
45 ' 25" West 300 feet; thence North 0° 05 ' 12" East 555. 23
feet to a line which passes through a point in the West
line of said East half distant thereon North 0° 05 ' 12"
East 565. 00 feet from said South line and through a point
in the East line of said Southwest quarter distant North 0°
12 ' 00" East 536. 00 feet from said Southeast corner; thence
along above described line South 88° 58 ' 54" East 300. 23
feet to a point distant thereon North 88° 58 ' 54" West
573. 69 feet from said East line; thence South 0° 06 ' 42"
West 548. 63 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT any portion thereof included within the lines of
