An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Azusa adding
Section 5.08.171 to the Azusa Municipal Code relating to the
revocation and suspension of ambulance operator and tow truck
operator business licenses .
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5.08.171 is added to the Azusa Municipal
Code to read:
"5.08.171. Suspension or Revocation - Capping
In addition to the grounds stated in any other section
of this Code, the City Council after a hearing as provided
in Section 5.08.170 shall suspend for a period of not
less than ten (10) days nor more than sixty (60) days a
tow truck operator business license or an ambulance
operator business license granted pursuant to this title
if it finds that any such licensee, his agent or employee,
general manager, or person who is exercising managerial
authority of or on behalf of the licensee has been
convicted of violating Section 6152 of the California
Business and Professions Code.
In addition to the grounds stated in any other section
of this Code, the City Council after a hearing as provided
in Section 5.08.170 shall revoke a tow truck operator
business license granted pursuant to this title if it
finds that any such licensee, his agent or employee,
general manager, or person who is exercising managerial
authority of or on behalf of the licensee or any combina-
tion of such persons has been convicted of violating
Section 6152 of the California Business and Professions
Code more than once in any twelve-month period."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.
Passed and approved this 18th day of November , 1974.

regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a

November , 1974. That, thereafter, said Ordinance
was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 18th day of November , 1974, by the
following vote, to wit:
