HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 1052 ORDINANCE NO. 1052 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING SECTION 15.04.030 AND REPEALING SECTION 15.04.040 OF THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FIRE ZONES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1 . Section 15.04.030 of the Azusa Municipal Code is amended to read: "15.04.030. Building Code--Section 1601(a) Amended--Fire Zones Defined. "Paragraph (a) of Section 1601 of the Building Code is amended to read: " (a) FIRE ZONES DEFINED. For the purpose of this Code, the entire territory of the City is hereby declared to be a fire district and said fire district shall be divided into and shall be designated as fire zones Nos. 2, 3, and 4, and each of said zones shall include such territory or portions of said City as set forth on the Fire Zone Map which is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and which is hereby approved. Whenever reference is made in this Code to fire zone No. 2, 3, or 4, it shall be construed to mean the fire zone of the same number designated and referred to on the Fire Zone Map. SECTION 2. Section 15.04.040 of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. Passed and approved this 5th day of March 1973.
