HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 1047 ORDINANCE NO. 1047 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY. (zone change Case No. Z-169 - Frederick Moller and Azusa Pacific College) The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amend- ment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission, and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 19.06.012 reading as follows : "19.06.012. Zone Charges. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 19.06.010 and the zoning map referred to therein, the following described property is hereby placed and included in the R-3a (Multiple Family Residential) Zone, to wit : A parcel of property on the south side of Alosta Avenue and approximately 192 feet east of Calera Avenue consisting of approximately 5.446 acres and as more particularly described in Zone Change Case No. Z-169 and Resolution No. 1029 of the Plan- ning Commission of the City of Azusa. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. Passed and approved this 5th day of February 1973.
