SUBJECT: COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY (DROUGHT) FORUMS
Staff has begun preparation for a number of educational Water Supply&Drought Forums for its
water customers to be held in June.
Likely locations include north and south of Foothill in Azusa for Azusa customers, and a
Southern location outside the City for non-Azusa customers. A "Key Account"
business forum,potentially in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce,is also planned.
A short presentation is planned to describe the sources of Azusa's water supply, information on
current drought conditions, an overview of Drought Phase III and tips for using less water.
Questions from attendees will be encouraged.
Light & Water will also invite participation from the Four Cities and Upper District wholesale
water agencies.
If Utility Board members have any suggestions or preferences related to this activity,please
let Liza Cawte or me know.
