the property owners interested in Easterly Annexation
District No. 8, which proceedings were terminated prior
to the time set for hearing of protests, 5th day of March,
1956. It was suggested by the Mayor that a Committee meet

Committee, would it be proper to give the information
gathered at such a meeting to the members of the City Council

officers of the City could direct letters to members of the
Council requesting that the information contained in the
letters not be made public information, unless the Council
deemed that such information should be public knowledge.
