The City Attorney pointed out that if majority protests Easterly
were received up to the t:Ime of the protest hearing set for Annexation
8 o'clock P.bI., August 6, 1956, future consideration by No. 14
the City could not be made for one year.
It was the opinion of the City Council that it would be

tion was terminated at this time, and negotiations continue
to insure a cooperative annexation in the near future.
