A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, IDENTIFYING THE PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED WITH
ROAD MAINTENANCE AND REHABILITATION ACCOUNT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is eligible to receive Road Maintenance and
Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) Funds, through the California State Controller; and,
WHEREAS, prior to receiving an apportionment of RMRA funds from the State
Controller in a fiscal year, the City must submit to the California Transportation Commission a
list of projects proposed to be funded with RMRA funds; and,
WHEREAS, all projects proposed to receive RMRA funding must be included in a city
budget that is adopted by the applicable city council at a regular public meeting; and,
WHEREAS, the following project is proposed to be funded with the Fiscal Year 2019-
2020 apportionment of RMRA Funds:
Title: Industrial Roads Pavement Rehabilitation Pro'ect
Description: This project will rehabilitate the pavement on several industrial streets including
Loren Avenue from Foothill Blvd to the end of the cul-de-sac, Coney Avenue from Foothill Blvd
to 81h Street, Miller Ave from Foothill Blvd, to Industrial St, Georgia Ave from Foothill Blvd, 8t'
Street, and Industrial Street from Coney Ave to Vernon Ave.
Location: Loren Avenue, Coney Avenue, Miller Avenue, Georgia Avenue, and Industrial Street.
Proposed Schedule for Completion: December 2020
Estimated Useful Life: 15 years without major repair work required.
Title: Alley Pavement Rehabilitation Protect
Description: This project will rehabilitate the pavement on several alleys bounded by I I' Street
to the north, Crescent Dr. to the south, Orange Ave to the west, and Angeleno Ave to the east.
Location: Alleys bounded by l lth Street to the north, Crescent Dr. to the south, Orange Ave to
the west, and Angeleno Ave to the east.
Proposed Schedule for Completion: July 2020
Estimated Useful Life: 20 years without major repair work required.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Approves programming the Industrial Roads Pavement Rehabilitation
Project and Alley Pavement Rehabilitation Project in the 2019-20 Fiscal Year budget.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2019.
