AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING SECTION 3200.65 OF THE AZUSA
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO TRUCK ROUTES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows :
SECTION 1. Section 3200.65 of the Azusa Municipal Code
is amended to read:
Section 3200.65 . Truck Routes .
In accordance with Section 3200. 45 and when signs are
erected giving notice thereof, the following streets or portions
of streets are hereby declared to be truck traffic routes for the
movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of three
tons :
(a ) Peckham Road from First Street to southerly
terminus approximately 600 feet south
(b) Motor Avenue from First Street to Gladstone
Street
(c ) Irwindale Avenue from First Street to Gladstone
Street
(d) Todd Avenue from Sierra Madre Avenue to
Foothill Boulevard
(e ) Loren Avenue from northerly terminus approximately
1500 feet north of Foothill Boulevard to Foothill
Boulevard
(f) Coney Avenue from northerly terminus approximately
800 feet north of Foothill Boulevard to Foothill
Boulevard
(g) Miller Avenue (formerly Lucky Avenue) from
Industrial Street to Foothill Boulevard
(h) Georgia Place from Eighth Street to Industrial
Street
(i ) Georgia Avenue from Eighth Street to Foothill
Boulevard
(j ) Vernon Avenue from Sierra Madre Avenue to
Foothill Boulevard and from Hollyvale Street to
Gladstone Street
(k) Lark Ellen Avenue from Gladstone Street to
southerly city limits
(1 ) San Gabriel Avenue from its northerly terminus
to Second Street and southeasterly through the
Azusa Avenue couplet to Azusa Avenue
(m) San Gabriel Canyon Road from northerly city
limits to San Gabriel Canyon Road

(n) Azusa and San Gabriel Canyon Road from northerly
city limits to San Gabriel Canyon Road
(o) Azusa Avenue from approximately 500 feet north
of Thirteenth Street to southerly city limits
(p) Alosta Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to
Citrus Avenue
(q) Citrus Avenue from approximately 600 feet south
of Alosta Avenue to Mauna Loa Avenue and from
100 feet more or less north of Baseline Road to
100 feet more or less south of Baseline Road and
from 150 feet north of Gladstone Street to 400
feet more or less south of Gladstone Street
(r ) McKinley Street from approximately 300 feet
east of Irwindale Avenue to Motor Avenue
(s) Sierra Madre Avenue from easterly city limits
to Todd Avenue
(t) Tenth Street from Vernon Avenue to Todd Avenue
(u) Eighth Street from Vernon Avenue to Georgia
Place
(v) Industrial Street from Vernon Avenue to Coney
Avenue
(w) Foothill Boulevard from easterly city limits
to westerly city limits
(x) Third Street from west terminus to Vernon
Avenue
(y) All of First Street within Azusa city limits
(z) All of Gladstone Street within Azusa city limits
(aa ) All of Arrow Highway within Azusa city limits
(bb ) Paramount Street from approximately 300 feet east
of Irwindale Avenue to Motor Avenue
(cc ) Roosevelt Street from approximately 300 feet east
of Irwindale Avenue to Motor Avenue
(dd) Aspan Avenue from First to Third Street
(ee ) Virginia Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to
Fifth Street
(ff) Fifth Street from west terminus to Virginia
Avenue
(gg) Coney Avenue from Third Street to Fifth Street

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

duced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the

after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 5th day of June , 1972, by the
