AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA RELATING TO THE USE OF PROPERTY FOR
VEHICLE OR EQUIPMENT RENTALS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9206 of the Azusa Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding a new paragraph thereto between the definitions
of "USE" and "YARD" to read as follows:
"UTILITY TRAILER AND TRUCK RENTAL YARD: A business
engaged primarily in the rental of utility trailers, trucks,
garden equipment, hand tools (including power) , and other
related items. The maximum capacity of any vehicle offered for
rent shall be two and one-half tons. "
SECTION 2. A new paragraph 25 is hereby added to Section
9213.10, subparagraph (b ) thereof, to read:
"25. Utility trailer and truck rental yard may be per-
mitted after a public hearing, in each case, under a Conditional
Use Permit obtained in accordance with procedures stated in
Section 9231.12 and Sections 9231.20 through 9231.29, inclusive.
All repair and maintenance of equipment permitted is prohibited
unless conducted within a completely enclosed building. "
SECTION 3. A new paragraph numbered RR is hereby added to
Section 9214.10, paragraph (b) 2 thereof to read:
"RR. Heavy equipment sale or rental. "
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1002 was regularly intro-
duced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 2lstday of September , 1970. That, thereafter,
said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 5th day of October , 1970, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Snyder, Clark, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None

I do further certify that I caused said Ordinance
to be published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from
the passage thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and

1970, and that the same was published in accordance with
law.
