ORDINANCE NO. 983
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO
REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY (SIERRA SCREW PRODUCTS
Z-157)
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows :
SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by
the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.28 reading as follows :
"SECTION 9207.28. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred
to therein, the following described premises are hereby
placed and included in the M-2 General Industrial Zone
effective upon annexation thereof to the City of Azusa,
to wit:
That certain real property described on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.
Passed and approved this 1st day of December ,
1969.

I, DEAN F. KLARR, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the above Ordinance No. 983 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 17th day of November , 1969.
That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 1st day of December ,
1969, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Calvert, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None

be published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the
passage thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Azusa, on the 10th day of December , 1969, and that

1000 West Sierra Madre Avenue, legally
described as :
That portion of Lots 41 and 56 of Sub-
division No. 2, Azusa Land & Water Company,
as recorded in Miscellaneous Records Book 43,
Page 94, of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, described as follows :
commencing at a point of beginning lying
North 367.03 feet and East 388.91 feet, from
the southwest corner of said Lot 41; thence S
89° 50' 42" E 722 .53 feet; thence S 81° 36' 57"
E 755.73 feet; thence N 16° 27 ' 45" W 693.13
feet to the southerly line of the proposed
westerly extension of Sierra Madre Avenue
(100 feet wide) , said southerly line being on
a curve concave to the North and having a
radius of 1500 feet; thence westerly along
said southerly line through a central angle
of 27° 35 ' 15" for an arc distance of 722 .24
feet; thence continuing along said southerly
