HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 969 i £ ORDINANCE NO. 969 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ANNEXATION (EASTERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 71) The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.24 reading as follows: "SECTION 9207.24. Zone Changes . Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the R3c Multiple Family Residential Zone effective upon annexation thereof to the City of Azusa, to wit: That certain real property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference . SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. City C erk Publish Azusa Herald & Pomotropic, August 3, 1969. -2- 4 EASTERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NUMBER 71 That portion of Rancho Azusa finally confirmed to Henry Dalton as recorded in Book 2, on Pages 106 and 107 of patents, in the office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the easterly boundary of the City of Azusa and the centerline of Foothill Boulevard (44.00 feet wide, with said centerline being 25.00 feet north of the south right-of-way line) as they existed on April 17, 1969; thence S 0° 03' 32" W along said easterly boundary, 25.00 feet; thence N 89° 54' 10" W 205.19 feet; thence S 0° 06' 05" W 184.00 feet; thence N 89° 54' 10" W 133.00 feet; thence S 0° 06' 05" W 198.60 feet; thence N 89° 57' 10" W 545.00 feet to the northeast line of Alosta Avenue (90.00 feet wide) as it existed on April 17, 1969; thence S 40° 52' 50" E along said northeast line, 601 .35 feet to the center line of Little Dalton Wash right-of-way (of varying width) as described in deed to Los Angeles County Flood Control District, recorded in Book D1697, pages 459 to 486, Official Records of said county; thence leaving said easterly boundary of the City of Azusa, N 70° 31 ' 01 " E along said centerline, 59.97 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the southeast and having a radius of 1,080.00 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 12° 04' 18" for an arc distance of 227.55 feet to a tangent line; thence N 82° 35' 19" E along said tangent line 1, 150.21 feet to the centerline of Citrus Avenue (of varying width) as it existed on April 17, 1969; thence N 0° 07' 12" E along said centerline of Citrus Avenue, 638.61 feet to aforementioned centerline of Foothill Boulevard; thence N 89° 54' 10" W along said centerline of Foothill Boulevard, 928.66 feet to the point of beginning.
