HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 954 ORDINANCE NO. 954 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ANNEXATION (EASTERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 70) The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.21 reading as follows: "SECTION 9207.21. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the C-3 General Commercial Zone, effective upon annexation thereof to the City of Azusa, to wit: That portion of the Rancho Azusa de Dalton, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, bounded by the following described lines: Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of Citrus Avenue, as described in deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded as Document No. 988, on November 25, 1930, in Book 10388, Page 381, of Official Records in the office of the Recorder of said County, with the most southerly line of the parcel of land as described in deed to the State of California recorded as Docu- ment No. 1261, on February 10, 1956, in Book D7, Page 794, of said Official Records; thence North 0° 05' 45" East 328.34 feet along said westerly line and its northerly prolongation; thence North 89° 54' 15" West 659.76 feet along a line perpendicular to said northerly prolongation of the westerly line of Citrus Avenue to a point in the northeasterly line of Alosta Avenue, 80 feet wide, as described in deed to the State of Califor- nia, recorded as Document No. 872, on June 29, 1933, in Book 12230, Page 230, of said Official Records; thence South 26° 20' 15" West 80.00 feet to a point in the southwesterly line of said Alosta Avenue; thence south- easterly along said southwesterly line, on a curve con- cave to the northeast, having a radius of 2290.00 feet, to the westerly line of the parcel of land as described in said deed recorded in Book D7 Page ?94, of said Official Records; thence southerly, southeasterly and easterly along the westerly, southwesterly and southerly lines of said last mentioned parcel of land to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
