HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 923 `I <3 ORDINANCE NO. 923 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE KEEPING OF POULTRY AND ANIMALS FOR NON- COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. Upon recommendation of the Planning Commission, Section 9208.10(c)5 of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows : "5. Ten (10) female chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons and other poultry over twelve weeks of age; or thirty chicks under twelve weeks of age, pro- vided such poultry shall be kept fully enclosed, but no closer than 20 feet of a lot line or within 50 feet of a dwelling, nor within one hundred feet from any school, hospital or similar institution. " SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this 1st day of April , 1968.
