AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO PARKING REGULATIONS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (a) of Section 3200.31 of the Azusa
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) The provisions of this Chapter prohibiting the stopping,
standing or parking of a vehicle shall not apply when it is neces-
sary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or
in compliance with directions of a police officer or official
control device, nor to any vehicle which is disabled in such a
manner and to such an extent that it is impossible to avoid
stopping and temporarily leaving the disabled vehicle on the
roadway or on any off street parking facility which the City
owns or operates. "
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 877 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 4th day of April , 1966. That, thereafter, said
ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 18th day of April , 1966, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None

I do further certify that I caused said ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage thereof
in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa, on the 24th day
of April , 1966, and that the same was published in accordance
with law.
