HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 843 ORDINANCE NO. 843 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING SECTION 3200.31B OF THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VEHICLES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 3200.31B of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 3200.31B. USE OF STREETS FOR STORAGE OF VEHICLES PROHIBITED. (a) No person who owns or has possession, custody or control of any vehicle shall park such vehicle upon any street or alley for more than a consecutive period of 72 hours. (b) In the event a vehicle is parked or left standing upon a street in excess of a consecutive period of 72 hours, any member of the police department authorized by the Chief of Police may remove said vehicle from the street in the manner and subject to the requirements of Section 22652 of the Vehicle Code of the State. " SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this 21st day of June , 1965.
