HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 840 • ORDINANCE NO. 840 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF A SECTION THERETO RELATING TO MINORS IN FAMILY STYLE BILLIARD PARLORS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of Section 6333.1 reading as follows: "SECTION 6333.1. EXCEPTION. Notwithstanding the provisions of Sections 6332 and 6333, any person of the age of sixteen years or over may be in, enter, visit or play in any 'family style billiard parlor' as des- cribed in Section 6331 above after the hour of 8:00 o 'clock A.M. and prior to the hour of 10:00 o 'clock P.M. of any day, and may be permitted to do so without being accompanied by parent or guardian, provided no alcoholic beverages are sold, dispensed or offered for sale on the premises or in any adjoining room con- nected by a door or opening to said premises. " SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this 3rd day of May , 1965.
