AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO
REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY. (Gerald Mack)
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows :
SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.71 which shall read
as follows :
"SECTION 9207.71. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding
the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map
referred to therein, the following described premises
are hereby placed and included in the C-2 Restricted
Commercial Zone, to wit :
The following described property in the City of
Azusa :
The northwest corner of Newburgh St. and
Donna Beth Ave., legally described as the
Southerly 57.44 feet of that portion of
the Southwest quarter of Section 2, Town-
ship 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino
Meridian, according to the official plat of
said land filed in the District Land Office
October 31, 1873, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of
said section, distant thereon South 0° 04'
East 954.28 feet from the centerline of
Bradbury as shown on County Surveyor's Map
No. 7942 on file in the office of the
County Surveyor of said County; thence
South 89° 41' East 658.02 feet; thence
South 0° 04' East 464.79 feet; thence South
89° 59' 15" West 658.02 feet of said west
line; thence thereon North 0° 04' West
468.62 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the Westerly 30 feet of said land
included in Azusa Avenue.
The easterly 300 feet of the above described
parcel, as shown on a map on file. "
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
Passed and approved this 1st day of March , 1965.

I, JAMES MILTER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 810 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting

of the City Council on the 15th day of February , 1965.
That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 1st day of March ,
1965, by the following vote, to wit :
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, McLees, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None

I do further certify thSt I caused said ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage
thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in .the City of
Azusa, on the 7th day of March , 1965, and that the same
was published i accordance with 'Law.
