HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance NO. 814 ORDINANCE NO. 814 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY. (Rodeffer - Golf Course) The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.64 which shall read as follows: "SECTION 9207.64. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the C-F Community Facilities Zone, to wit: Commencing at a point of beginning which said point is the intersection of the westerly prolongation of the Centerline of Sierra Madre Avenue and the easterly line of Lot 65, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company; thence northerly along said easterly line to the southerly line of Tract No. 20971 as per map recorded in Book 593, Pages 65, 66 and 67 of Maps, Los Angeles County; thence westerly along said southerly line to the westerly boundary of said tract; thence North 00° 19' 40" East along the westerly line of said Tract No. 20971 to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence North 69° 57' West 335.00 feet; thence South 09° 53 ' West, 1106.00 feet; thence South 67° 191 00" West 168.58 feet; thence South 610 06 ' 30" West to a point on the southerly line of Lot 64, 161.58 feet East of the westerly line of said Lot 64; thence North 89° 371 18" West along the southerly lines of Lots 64, 58 and 39 a distance of 2151.651; thence North 71° 421 West 724.951 to a point on the westerly line of Lot 39, 260.00 feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 39; thence South 0° 071 25" West along said westerly line of Lot 39 and Lot 40 to the southerly line of said Lot 40; thence South 0° 061 05" West along the westerly line of Lot 41 to its southerly line; thence South 89° 521 50" East along the southerly line of Lot 41 and 56 to a distance of 1935.901 to a point in the southerly line of said Lot 56; thence North 16° 301 West a distance of 2401 ; thence North 83° 001 West a distance of 780.00 feet; thence North 89° 521 50" West, a distance of 720.00 feet; thence North 08° 001 West, a distance of 1100.00 feet; thence North 07° 001 East a distance of 920.00 feet; thence South 89° 37' 18" East a distance of 655.00 feet; thence South 23° 001 East, a distance of 655.00 feet; thence South 28° 301 East, a distance of 850.00 feet; thence easterly along a curve concave to the North, having a radius of 1450.00 feet, a distance of 830.00 feet; thence North 52° 001 East a distance of 175.00 feet; thence South 40° 30' East a distance of 130.00 feet; thence North 90° 001 East a distance of 1280.00 feet; thence North 02° 001 West a distance of 110.00 feet; thence North 32° 301 East a distance of 380.00 feet; thence North 02° 001 West a distance of 760.00 feet; thence easterly along a curve concave to the South having a radius of 1500.00 feet, a distance of 325.00 feet; thence South 89° 37' 18" East a distance of 260.00 feet to the point of beginning. Except the following described portion thereof: Commencing at the intersection of the westerly prolonga- tion of the Centerline of Sierra Madre Avenue and the Easterly line of Lot 65; thence along the prolongation of the Centerline of Sierra Madre Avenue a distance of 260.00 feet; thence along a curve concave to the South having a radius of 1500.00 feet, a distance of 702.00 feet, which point is the true point of beginning; thence South 30 001 East, a distance of 250.00 feet; thence South 29° 001 West, a distance of 720.00 feet; thence South 89° 00' West, a distance of 610.00 feet; thence North 40° 30' West, a distance of 175.00 feet; thence North 34° 301 West, a distance of 200.00 feet; thence South 62° 00' West, a distance of 740.00 feet; thence North 55° 301 West, a distance of 165.00 feet; thence North 07° 001 East, a distance of 490.00 feet; thence North 28° 001 West, a distance of 305.00 feet; thence North 25° 001 East, a distance of 140.00 feet; thence South 89° 371 18" East a distance of 850.00 feet; thence North 68° Sot East, a distance of 565.00 feet; thence South 89° 371 18" East a distance of 350.00 feet; thence South 30° 001 East to the true point of beginning. " SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this 20th day of July , 1964.
