AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY. (Northerly Annexation District
No. 60)
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by
the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.59 which shall read as
follows:
"SECTION 9207.59. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the pro-
visions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein,
the following described premises are hereby placed and included
in the C-2 Restricted Commercial Zone, effective upon annexation
to the City of Azusa, to wit:
All that territory included within Northerly Annexation
No. 6o to the City of Azusa, EXCEPT the following portion
thereof which is hereby placed in the R-la Single Family
Residential Zone, to wit:
That portion of Northerly Annexation District No. 60
lying easterly of Azusa and San Gabriel Canyon Road and
northerly of an east-west line the westerly end of which
is south 829 feet measured along the east line of said
Azusa and San Gabriel Canyon Road from the north line of
Section 27, T 1 N, R 10 W, S.B.B.&M. "
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 804 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 18th day of May , 1964. That, thereafter, said
ordinance was din-T.-adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 1st day of June , 1964, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None

published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage
thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa,

lished in accordance with law .
