HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 765 i ORDINANCE NO. 765 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE ZONING CHAPTER OF THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH R3a, R3b AND R3c ZONES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 9210 of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 9210. R3a, R3b, and R3c MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONES. 'R3a', 1R3bl, and Inc ' Multiple Family Residential Zones are intended as residential districts of single, duplex, two-family, and multiple-family residences. Except as specifically provided elsewhere in this Chapter, any and every building and premises or land in the R3a, R3b, and R3c Zones shall be used or occupied and every building shall be erected, constructed, established, altered, enlarged, maintained, moved into and within said R3a, R3b, and R3c Zones exclusively and only in accordance with the following regulations. It is hereby declared that the successor to the existing IR-31 Zone shall be the 'R3c ' Zone, and all prop- erties currently classified as IR-31, shall henceforth be classi- fied as IR3c1 . " SECTION 2. Section 9210.40 of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 9210.40. MINIMUM LOT AREA PER BUILDING UNIT. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall be as follows: a In the R3a Zone two thousand square feet, b In the Rab Zone fifteen hundred square feet, and c In the R3c Zone twelve hundred square feet. " SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
