AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING SECTION 3200.63 OF THE AZUSA
MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING THROUGH STREETS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3200.63 of the Azusa Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3200.63. THROUGH STREETS.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 3200.18 and
when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles
shall stop at each entrance to or intersection with those streets
described as follows:
(a) Azusa Avenue from the north city limits (Sierra Madre
Avenue) to the south city limits (Broadway or Gladstone as it is
variously termed) .
(b) Foothill Boulevard from the west city limits to the
east city limits.
(c) Fifth Street from Cerritos Avenue to Virginia Avenue.
(d) Ninth Street from Pasadena Avenue to Angeleno Avenue.
(e) San Gabriel Avenue from First Street to Eleventh Street.
(f) Virginia Avenue from Third Street to Foothill Boulevard.
(g) Sierra Madre Avenue from the east city limits to San
Gabriel Avenue.
(h) Eleventh Street from Pasadena Avenue on the east to
the westerly end of Eleventh Street.
��(i) That portion of Gladstone Avenue which is within the
City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
Passed and approved this 19th day of March , 1962.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 700 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 5th day of March , 1962. That, thereafter,
said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 19th day of March , 1962, by the following
vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, McLees, Johnson, Teasley, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None -�

I do further certify that I caused said ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage thereof
in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa, on the 25th day
of March , 1962, and that the same was published in accordance
with law.
