HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 695 L. H ORDINANCE NO. 695 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ANNEXATION. (Annex. No . 44) The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.17 reading as follows: "SECTION 9207.17. Zone Changes. R-3 Zone. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the R-3 Multiple Family Residential Zone, effective upon annexation thereof to the City of Azusa, to-wit: The southerly 260 feet of that portion of Lot 88 of the Subdivision No. 2 Azusa Land and Water Co., County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 43 Page 94 of Miscellaneous Records of said County, lying easterly of a line beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 7 of V. M. Greever Tract, as per map recorded in Book 18 Page 157 of Maps; thence along the east line of said Lot 7 and its southerly prolongation, South 0° 08' 40" East 1260.15 feet to the north line of Fifth Street. Except therefrom the southerly 515 feet thereof. Also except therefrom that portion thereof lying northeasterly of a line 40 feet northeasterly of and parallel with the southwesterly line of the State Highway, as established by the deeds recorded in Book 12224 Page 239, Official Records, and Book 12254, Page 341, Official Records of said County. " SECTION 2. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.18 reading as follows: "SECTION 9207.18. Zone Changes. C-2 Zone. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the C-2 Restricted Commercial Zone, effective upon annexation thereof to the City of Azusa, to-wit: That portion of Lot 88 of the Subdivision No. 2 Azusa Land and Water Co., County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 43 Page 94 of Miscellaneous Records of said County, lying easterly of a line beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 7 of V. M. Greever Tract, as per map recorded in Book 18 Page 157 of Maps; thence along the east line of said Lot 7 and its southerly prolongation, South 0° 081 40" East 1260.15 feet to the north line of Fifth Street. Except therefrom the southerly 515 feet thereof. Also except therefrom that portion thereof lying northeasterly of a line 40 feet northeasterly of and parallel with the southwesterly line of the State Highway, as established by the deeds recorded in Book 12224 Page 239, Official Records, and Book 12254, Page 341, Official Records of said County. EXCEPT the southerly 260 feet thereof. " SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
