AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE TITLE
OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO CITY ADMINISTRATOR.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The title of Chapter 4 of Article II of the
Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read "City Administrator" .
SECTION 2. Section 2400 of the Azusa Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2400. CITY ADMINISTRATOR CREATED.
There shall be and there is hereby created in the unclassified
service of and for the City the position of City Administrator.
Such City Administrator shall be appointed by, and shall serve
purely in an administrative capacity under the general supervision
and control of the City Council. Wherever the words 'Administrative
Officer' are used in this Code, the same shall be deemed to refer
to and mean the City Administrator. "
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
Passed and approved this 6th day of March, 1961.

I, James Miller, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 663 was regularly in-
troduced and placed upon its first reading at an adjourned regular
meeting of the City Council on the 27th day of February, 1961. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 6th day of March, 1961, by the
following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Teasley, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: McLees, Johnson

I do further certify that I Wised said Ordinance to be published
prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage thereof in
the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published, and circulated in the City of Azusa, on the 13th
day of March, 1961, and that the same was published in accordance with
law.
