A regular meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 7:40 p.m. in the West Wing Conference Room by Jake
Bushey, Chair.

This memorandum is to request OPEN recruitment for the position of Street Maintenance Worker
II in the Public Works Department.
There are two (2) current vacancies in the Public Works Department, Street Division for this
classification. This position is the second in a series of three levels and is best filled by an open
search. The candidate pool for an "open" recruitmentshould provide very qualified candidates
and as this is a series position, there are no Street Maintenance Worker I candidates available.
Additionally,an open recruitment would provide an eligibility list from which any future vacancies
could be filled.

Maintenance Crew Supervisor in the Public Works Department.
