A regular meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 6:37 p.m. in the West Wing Conference Room by Jake
Bushey, Chair.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR OPEN RECRUITMENT FOR POLICE OFFICER TRAINEE-ACADEMY
This memorandum is to request an OPEN recruitment for the position of Police Officer Trainee-
Academy. The Police Department is confident the Academy pool of candidates will be strong and
therefore requests an open-competitive process.
This vacancy is a result of a recent promotional process concluded for the position of Police
Corporal. The list established from this recruitment will be used to fill the remaining vacancy at
the Police Officer Trainee-Academy level.
