A regular meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 6:37 p.m. in the West Wing Conference Room by Jake
Bushey, Chair.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES Kloster/Allen - to approve the minutes.

Merit Increases, Regular Allen/Kloster - to recommend approval of merit increases, regular appointment and/or
appointment and/or flexible staffing promotional appointments for the following employees. To recommend the
Flexible Staffing Promotion Employee Performance Evaluation for Director of Human Resources be carried over to the
Appointment next regular meeting of the Personnel Board as it had not been reviewed with the employee.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR OPEN RECRUITMENT-METER READER
This memorandum is to request an OPEN recruitment for the position of Meter Reader. Azusa
Light&Water is requesting an Open recruitment at this time to fill this vacancy, as this is an entry
level classification, the external candidate pool is expected to be strong.
An external candidate pool should provide very qualified candidates and allow any qualified
internal candidates to also compete. Additionally,an open recruitment would provide an eligibility
list from which any future vacancies could be filled.
