SUBJECT: ST. FRANCES OF ROME USAGE OF BOOTHS AND STAGE FOR
CHURCH EVENTS
The Public Works Department has been contacted by the St. Frances
of Rome Church for the usage of all 28 booths and stage for the
annual Citrus Fiesta on June 10, 11 & 12 , 1994. The Parks and
Recreation Commission has approved the request however, the church
is requesting Council's approval for City forces to deliver the
items on June 6, 1994 and to pick them up on June 14 , 1994 as has
been allowed in the past.
Since their initial contact, a second request has been received for
the usage of the stage at the St. Frances of Rome C.C.D. Center
located at 501 Soldano Ave. for the Cystic Syndrome and Performing
Arts Benefit on May 21, 1994. The Parks & Recreation Commission
has approved their request however, the church is requesting
Council's approval for City forces to deliver the stage on May 19,
1994 and to be picked up on May 23 , 1994 . The Public Works
Department is capable of fulfilling this request upon Council's
approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff is requesting that Council authorize the Public Works }�
Department to deliver and return the items requested to both of the `I"
St. Frances of Rome Church events.
