HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 652 ORDINANCE NO. 652 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AC- CEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 13522 OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS SECTION 1. The City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, California, declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1, the City of Azusa while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to said Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards of recruitment and training established by the California Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall publish the same as re- quired by law. CITY OF AZUSA I, GEORGE CASWELL, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 652 was regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 8th day of Sept- ember, 1960.
