AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE AZUSA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Sections9207.01, 9207.02, 9207.03, 9207.04,
9207.05, 9207.06, 9207.07, 9207.08, 9207.09, 9207.10, 9207.11 and
9207.12 of the Azusa Municipal Code are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by
the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.1 reading as follows:
"SECTION 9207.1. Zone Change. M-1 Zone. Effective Date.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning
Map referred to therein, the east 285 feet of the northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
Fractional Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.&M.,
is zoned and included in the R-lc Single Family Residential Zone
and shall be included in the M-1 Zone only when all of the
following conditions have been complied with:
(a) Widening of Gladstone Street adjacent to said
property in conformance with County Engineer's proposed
alignment, together with a cut-off corner, to be dedicated.
(b) Access to Clydebank Avenue, except for a ninety-foot
length to provide for the westerly extension of Payson Street
and cut-off corners, to be dedicated to the City.
(c) Curbs, gutters and paving for the Gladstone Street
and Clydebank Avenue frontage to be installed or bond filed with
the City to secure same.
(d) Six-foot masonry wall to be constructed along Clyde-
bank Avenue where right of access is dedicated except that
northerly one hundred feet of said wall may be thirty-two inches
high, or bond filed to secure same. "
SECTION 3. The Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended by
the addition thereto of a new Section 9207.2 reading as follows:
"SECTION 9207.2 Zone Changes. R-3 Zone. Notwithstanding
the provisions of Section 9207 and the Zoning Map referred to
therein, the following described premises are hereby placed
and included in the R-3a Multiple Family Residential Zone, to-
wit:
Lot 12 and the northerly one-half of Lot 13 of
Mountain View Extension Tract in the City of Azusa,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 12, Page 104 of Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said County
(located at 141 Dalton Avenue) . "
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 637 was regularly intro-
duced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 5th day of July , 1960. That, thereafter, said
ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 18th day of July , 1960, by the following vote,
to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, McLees , Johnson, Teasley. Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None

I do further certifythat I caused said ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage
thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa,

in accordance with law.
