HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 627 ORDINANCE NO. 627 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 497 OF SAID CITY, AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND THE PENAL SUM OF THE BOND OF THE CITY TREASURER FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE BEGINNING WITH THE NEW TERM OF OFFICE IN APRIL, 1960. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 497 of the City of Azusa is hereby repealed, effective April 19, 1960. SECTION 2. For and during the term of office of the City Treasurer of the City of Azusa, which said term of office commences in April, 1960, and for and during each succeeding term of office of said City Treasurer, or until otherwise provided in accordance with law, the salary of the City Treasurer of said City shall be the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per month, which said salary of $300.00 per month, until otherwise provided in accordance with law, shall comprise the entire compensation of said City Treasurer as such, as in full payment for all services rendered by him as such City Treasurer, as such, and all fees collected by the City Treasurer as such City Treasurer, except as now or hereafter provided by law, shall be forthwith paid into the Treasury of the City of Azusa. SECTION 3. For and during the term of office of such City Treasurer of the City of Azusa, which said term of office commences in April, 1960, and for and during each succeeding term of office of such City Treasurer, or until otherwise providedin accordance with law, the said City Treasurer shall furnish said City with a proper bond in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), in the form and manner required by law. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law.
