ORDINANCE NO. 620
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 535 SO AS TO REZONE
CERTAIN PREMISES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone change and amendment were duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City
Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare
and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amend-
ment be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 535, passed and approved on the
6th day of May, 1957, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new
section numbered 9207.23 reading as follows:
"SECTION 9207.23. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 9207.00 of this ordinance and the Zoning
Map referred to therein, the following described premises are
hereby placed and included in the R-3 Zone, to-wit:
The West 260 feet of Lot 4 and allFR t 10 in Block
1 of Subdivision No. 1 of Lands of Azusa Land & Water Co.
Recorded in Book 16 page 17. (On Cerritos Ave. just
north of Azusa High School)
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
Passed and approved this 15th day of December, 1959.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 620 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 7th day of December 1959. That, thereafter, said ordinance was
dulyadopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the
15h day of December , 1959, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Johnson, Teasley, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: Nale
ABSENT:Councilmen: Paul, Ortuno

I do further certify that caused said ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage thereof
in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa, on the 24thday
of December , 1959, and that the same was published in accordance ith
law.
