AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 535 SO AS TO REZONE
CERTAIN PREMISES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity,
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 535, passed and approved on the
6th day of May, 1957, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a
new section numbered 9207.17 reading as follows:
"SECTION 9207.17. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Section 9207.00 of this ordinance and the
Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described
premises are hereby placed and included in the C-2 Restricted
Commercial Zone, effective upon annexation thereof to the City
of Azusa, to wit:
"All that territory known as 'Southerly Annexation
District No. 34, Revised', except that portion there-
of within Lark Ellen Avenue and-shim extension."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 603 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 6th day of April , 1959. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 20th day of April , 1959,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Ortuno, Teasley, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: Johnson
