AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE
RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1959.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by •
taxation upon the taxable property within the City as a revenue to
carry on the various departments of such City for the current fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1959, and to pay the bonded or other indebted-
ness of such City is hereby fixed as follows:
For the General Fund for the carrying on
of the various departments $ 285,874.98
For the Park and Recreation Fund 98,340.54
For the Library Fund 59,00+.32
For the Employees' Retirement Fund 32,780.18
For Interest and Sinking Fund for City Hall
Bonds of 1927 -0-
For Interest and Sinking Fund for Street Work
Bonds of 1920 -0-
For Interest and Sinking Fund for Street Work
Bonds of 192+ -0-
Total $ 476,000.02
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law, and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage.

I, JAMES MILLER, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 612 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 17th day of August , 1959. That, thereafter, said
ordinance was duly adopted and passed at an adjourned regular meeting of
the City Council on the 25th day of August , 1959, by the following
vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Ortuno, Teasley, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: Johnson

I do further certify the I caused said Ordinance to be
published prior to the expiration of fifteen days from the passage
thereof in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa,
on the 31st day of August , 1959, and that the same was published
in accordance with law.
