HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance NO. 584 "1 • 1 I ORDINANCE NO. 584 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 438 RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS AND ANGLE PARKING. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 13.03 of Ordinance No. 438, approved and passed on the 4th day of June 1951, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new item (s5 reading as follows: . "(s) Vincent Avenue at Gladstone Street." SECTION 2. Section 13.06 of said Ordinance No. 438 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 13.06. STREETS DESIGNATED) FOR ANGLE PARKING. In accordance with the provisions of Section 9.19 and when lines are painted on the streets or signs erected giving notice thereof, those streets or portions of streets hereinafter described shall be used for angle parking, and drivers of vehicles shall park within the lanes so painted on the street or in accordance with signs erected, to-wit: "(a) Both sides of Alameda Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue on the North to Sixth Street on the South. (b) Both sides of San Gabriel Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue on the North to Sixth Street on the South. (c) Fourth Street from Orange Avenue on the West to Angeleno Avenue on the East, South side only. l (d) Angeleno Avenue from Fourth Street on the North to Third Street on the South, West side only. (e) Both sides of Orange Place from Fourth Street on the North to Third Street on the South. (f) The parking area in front of the main building located at 727 North Vernon Avenue." SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this - 2nd- day of September • , 1958.
