HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 547 1 r' sir, 7�-t'':.-1.'j— (` -:.a,. /t / 1 ORDINANCE NO. 547 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 535 SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 535, passed and approved on the 6th day of May, 1957, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new section numbered 9207.02 reading as follows: "SECTION 9207.02. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the pro- visions of Section 9207.00 of this ordinance and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the C-2 Restricted Commercial District, to wit: All that territory situate in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the southerly boundary of the City of Azusa as same existed on February 18, 1957 and the northerly prolongation of the easterly line of Azusa Avenue, 100 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 18504, recorded in Book 473, pages 47 and 48, of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County; thence southerly along said prolongation and easterly line to the northerly line of a parcel described as follows: The south 195 feet of the northwest one-quarter of the southwest one-quarter of the southwest one- quarter of Fractional Section 2, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, according to the official plat of said land filed in the District Land Office on October 31, 1873; thence easterly along said northerly line to the westerly line of Donna Beth Avenue, of varying width, as shown on map of Tract No. 19685, recorded in Book 505, pages. 8 through 14, of Maps in said office of the Recorder; thence southerly along said westerly line of Donna Beth Avenue to the southerly line of said parcel; thence westerly along the southerly line of said parcel and the westerly prolongation thereof to the westerly line of said Azusa Avenue, 100 feet wide; thence northerly along said westerly line of Azusa Avenue to the southeasterly corner of said Tract No. 18504; thence northerly along the easterly boundary of said Tract No. 18504 and the northerly pro- longation thereof to a point4A said southerly boundary; thence easterly along said basindary to the point of beginning. " SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage t and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub- lished as required by law.
