HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 541 ' /, / /, ORDINANCE NO . 541 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DISAPPROVING EASTERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 21. The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine that the proposed annexation of certain uninhabited territory desig- nated as Easterly Annexation District No. 21 was duly initiated by Resolution No. 3581, adopted February 18, 1957, and was set for hearing on April 1, 1957, notice of which hearing was duly given, and said hearing was duly conducted, a majority was not presented in accordance with Section 35313 of the Government Code, but that the said annexation is not in the best interests of the City of Azusa at this time and that said annexation should be disapproved. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby disapprove the said annexation known as Easterly Annexation District No. 21. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law. Passed and approved this 17th day of June , 1957.
