AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO, 44 OF SAID CITY, ENTITTED:

The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby ordain as
6 follows:
7 SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 443 of the City of Azusa, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES
8 COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND THE PENAL SUM OF THE
BOND OF THE CITY TREASURER FOR THE TERM COMMENCING APRIL 15, 1940",
9 be, and the same is hereby repealed, effective April 17, 1956,
10 Section 2. For and during the term of office of the City
Treasurer of the City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, California, which
11 said term of office commences in April, 1956, and for and during each
succeeding term of office of said City Treasurer, or until otherwise
12provided in accordance with law, the salary of said City Treasurer of
said City shall be the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per month
13 which said salary of $200.00 per month, until otherwise provided in
accordance with law, shall comprise the entire compensation of said
14 City Treasurer as such, as in full payment for all services rendered
by nim as such City Treasurer, as such, and all fees collected by
15 said City Treasurer as such City Treasurer, except as now or hereafte
provided by law, shall be forthwith paid into the Treasury of the
16 City of Azusa.
17 SECTION 3. For and during the term of office of the City Treas
urer of the City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, California, which said
18 terv, of office commences in April, 1956, and for and during each
succeeding term of office of such City Treasurer, or until otherwise
19 provided in accordance with law, the said City Treasurer shall Curnis
said City with a proper bond in the amount of Twenty Five Thousand
20 Dollars ($25,000.00) , in the form and manner required by law.
21 SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance and heretofore passed and adopted by the City of
22 Azusa or by the City Council or by any Board of Trustees thereof,
shall be, and the same are hereby repealed insofar only as said other
23 ordinances or Darts of ordinances conflict or are inconsistent with
the provisions of this ordinance, which repeal shall be effective as
24 of the effective date of this ordinance.
25 The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Cle k
shall attest the same and certify as to the passage and adoption
26 hereof, and shall causr—t the same to be published once in the Azusa
Herald and 2omotropic, a weekly newspaper of general circulation
27 published and circulated in the City of Azusa, which said newspaper
is hereby designated for that purpose, and thereupon and thereafter
28 after thirty days after its passage this ordinance shall take effect
and be in Three.
