WILL 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 3 AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 272 OF SAID CITY, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF 4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FIXING THE SALARY OR COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN CITY 5 OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT 6 THEREWITH", AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND THE PENAL SUM OF THE BOND OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE BEGINNING WITH THE NEW TERM OF OFFICE IN ' 8 APRIL, 1952. 9 10 The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby ordain 6 11 as follows: .14 01E2 JoN 12 Section 1. Ordinance No. 272 of the City of Azusa, entitled: 12d8 13 "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FIXING .141, 11! 14 THE SALARY OR COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN CITY OFFICERS OF SAID 15 CITY AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN- 16 CONSISTENT THEREWITH", be, and the same is hereby repealedteffectiv Poi< 17 Section 2. That from and after the election to be held z„eqx o z 18 in April, 1952, the salary of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa 5 ° 8 19 shall be the sum of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars (4450.00) per 82N z5u. 20 month, and that said *450.00 per month shall be in full for 21 all services rendered by said City Clerk as such and all fees 22 collected by said City Clerk, except as by ordinance otherwise 23 provided, shall be paid into the Treasury of the City of Azusa. 24 Section 3. Said City Clerk shall furnish said City with a 25 proper bond in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars (*3,000.00) , 26 in the form and manner required by law. 27 Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in 28 COnflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance 29 are hereby repealed. 30 Section 5. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City 31Clerk shall attest the same and certify as to the passage and 32 adoption hereof, and shall cause the same to be published once 1 in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper of 2 general circulation, published and circulated in the City of 3 Azusa, which said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose, 4 and thereupon, thirty days after its passage, this ordinance 5 shall take effect and be in force. 4 Karl Jp'res, 8 Mayor of the City of Azusa. 9 ATTEST: 10 ClA)tilA"'4) M.
