Findings As stated in the attached letter dated May 10, 1089 , the Talley family will soon be closing their retail furniture store at 619 N. Azusa Avenue. Azusa Furniture has been in business at that location since February 1937 . The date of the sale has been established at on or about May 16 for the following thirty (30) days. Mr. Talley has requested the necessary approval of Council for this sale. Recommendation Staff recommends that Council : 1 . Approve, with regret, the "Quitting Business Sale" of Azusa Furniture; and 2 . Having served the public and our customers in Azusa from the same location since February of 1937, the Azusa Furniture Company, 610/621 No. Azusa Avonue, Azusa, CA will be closing its doors in the near future. We request permissi-n to begin our sale on or about May 16, 1989. :r :.nderstanding is that such a sale may continue for a period of thirty days (30) from its inception and upon ritten request such a sale may be extended for a second thirty day (30) period.
