Engineer be accepted to accept the bid'of the lowest bidder

a communication from Mr. Eaton submitting his resignation

Council, stating that a model home will be placed on blocks
for display purposes only and that the property is being leased
for a period of five years, with the condition.that the im-
provements be -removed -at the termination of the lease.
Following discussion, it'was moved by Councilman Cooney,'
seconded by Councilman Jackson and unanimously 'carried thatl
the recommendation .of the City Engineer be accepted and the
builders be notified of the conditions with the exception
as to Section 8168 only as it pertains to the pavement and
base requirement and only to the construction of the model
house.
City Administrator Foxworthy requested Council consideration
of residual portion of'property acquired for relocation of
Cerritos Avenue -and Fifth Street intersection, as.reeommended
by the City Engineer.
