HomeMy WebLinkAboutE-7 Staff Report - Approval of Final Tract Map 77150CONSENT ITEM E-7 TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL VIA: SERGIO GONZALEZ, CITY MANAGER FROM: ROBERT DELGADILLO, P.E., DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER DATE: AUGUST 17, 2020 SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF FINAL TRACT MAP NO. 77150 FOR AN INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS PARK PROJECT LOCATED AT 1025 NORTH TODD AVENUE BACKGROUND: On September 26, 2018, the Planning Commission approved a tentative tract map for An Industrial Business Park project located at 1025 N Todd Avenue. The proposed action will approve Final Tract Map No. 77150. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council take the following actions: 1)Find that this project complies with the General Plan and is consistent with the approved tentative tract map and any amendments thereto; and 2) Find that this project is in compliance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act; and 3) Approve Final Tract Map 77150; and 4)Authorize the City Clerk and City Treasurer to endorse the certificates on the face of the map, which embodies the approval of Final Tract Map 77150. ANALYSIS: The Planning Commission approved a tentative tract map for Tract No. 77150 on September 26, 2018. The project consists of a seven (7) parcel industrial business park located at 102 N. Todd Avenue. There are a total of seven (7) buildings. APPROVED CITY COUNCIL 8/17/2020 Final Tract Map No. 77150 August 17, 2020 Page 2 The final tract map has been approved by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works and certified by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act, City Ordinances, and the approved tentative tract map. It is ready for your examination and certification as to compliance with the conditions of approval and applicable City ordinances. The City Council or Advisory Agency should make th e findings required by the California Environmental Quality Act and the Subdivision Map Act. After your approval and the approval of the City Council or Advisory Agency, the final map should be returned to Los Angeles County Public Works, Land Development Division, for filing with the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office.
