Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council accept the City of Azusa Police Facility Addition and
Alteration project as complete and authorize execution and recordation of the attached Notice of
Completion.
Background
Construction started at the Police Department in May 1997 and was completed in March 1999.
The facility has now been in full operation for over three months and we are satisfied with
Hazama's performance.
Fiscal Impact
The City will not release the $175,955.74 retention monies until 35 days after recordation of the
Notice of Completion and all Mechanics Liens, Stop Notices, and outstanding Labor Commission
issues are resolved per the contract and Project Manual.
