BACKGROUND On March 11, 2003 the Personnel Board confirmed the following Department Head recommendation(s) regarding the following Personnel Action request(s). 1. MERIT INCREASE AND/OR REGULAR APPOINTMENT: DEPARTMENT NAME CLASSIFICATION TYPE OF ACTION EFFECTIVE DATE RANGE/STEP BASE MONTHLY SALARY Police Michael Bires Police Officer Regular Appt. 2-20-03 6101/5 $4,704.49 Police Brandon Bailey Police Officer Merit Inc 3-18-03 6101/5 $4,836.22 Police Ericka Ceccia Police Administrative Technician Regular Appt. 3-18-03 4174/2 $3,320.58 Public Works Jason Tingley Facilities Maintenance Worker I Regular Appt/ Merit Inc 1-2-03 4153/4 $2,987.95 Utilities Anthony Silva Water Utility Worker I Regular Appt. 2-6-03 5167/5 $3,619.66 FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact, as positions listed are funded in approved departmental budgets. Salary savings realized from vacant positions are utilized to underfill positions with temporary hires and/or to offset overtime costs.
