HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - June 23, 1965 - CCLIBRARY AUDITORIUM AZUSA, CALIFORNIA WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23, 1965 The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned regular session at the above time and place. 6:30 p.m. Mayor Memmesheimer called the meeting to order. Call to Order Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Roll Call McLees, Memmesheimer Absent: Councilmen: Solem Also Present: City Administrator Foxworthy, Deputy City Clerk Roehrich, City Clerk Miller The City Administrator informed Council that he authorized P.D. budget a Purchase Order for the Police Department, for 2 shot- amended by guns and 1 combination siren and Public Address System, $334.36 amounting to $334.36, and amended this year's budget. The City Administrator presented a request from Civil Mayor auth. to Defense Director Becker for the Mayor to sign, on sign Civ.Def. behalf of the City, forms re: non-discrimination on Title VI forms Civil Defense funds, which forms have to be sent in by June 30, 1965. Moved by Councilman McLees, seconded by Councilman Cooney and unanimously carried that the Mayor be authorized to sign the Civil Defense, Title VI, forms, on behalf of the City. The City Administrator presented a letter from E. T. C.Atty. to Lakey Co., realtors in Covina, requesting a water line prepare Agmt. for an auto laundry to be developed on property located bet.City & Joe 125 feet north of the northwest corner of Azusa Avenue Hershson for and Arrow Highway, which property they sold to Joe installing 6" Hershson of 1290 Hillgreen Drive, Los Angeles. The City Administrator informed Council that Object Revised Obj. Account 330 has been reduced by $2,775, making a total Acct. 330 of $14,154 for all Departments in the 330 Account. accepted Moved by Councilman McLees, seconded by Councilman Rubio and unanimously carried to accept the revised Object Account 330 as presented. Moved by Councilman McLees, seconded by Councilman Cooney Adjourn to and unanimously carried that the meeting be adjourned to 6/29/65, 7 p.m., Tuesday, 6/29/65, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.
