The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned
regular session at the above time and place.
Mayor Memmesheimer called the meeting to order. Call to Order

A letter was received from the Southern California Rapid
Req.by SCRTD
Transit District, urging the City's support re: A.B. #20923

The City Administrator submitted a request from the Superin-
tendent of Light and Water for confirmation of the appoint-
ment of Ivan D. Reit as probationary Lineman at Step 4,
effective 5/29/67.
Moved by Councilman McLees, seconded by Councilman Solem
and unanimously carried that confirmation of the appointment

The City Administrator submitted a memo from Poli.woman Req.approp.
Hunter, informing Council of tentative plans for the Azusa of $100 for
Police Department to host an educational training session for hosting Women
the State Women Peace Officers' Association on 9/23/67, with Peace Officers
the request that Council consider appropriating a sum not to Assn.se'ssion

e City Administrator reminded Council of the inspection of the Reminder of
M #1130 Computer on May 31st at 6:30 p.m., at 510 South Vernon IBM demon-
enue, Los Angeles (change of address); also that there will be stration
catered dinner in order to avoid loss of time. Mayor Memme- 5/31/67,

After discussion re:Resolution that Council instructed the City
Attorney to prepare at 5/17/67 meeting (adopting new salary and
job specs for Accounting Director) it was
