NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Copies of staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item of business
referred to on the Agenda are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and are available for
public inspection at the City Library.
Persons who wish to speak during the Public Participation portion of the Agenda, shall
fill out a card requesting to speak and shall submit it to the City Clerk prior to the start of
the City Council meeting. When called, each person may address any item on or off the
agenda during the public participation.

A. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
(Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption up to five (5)
minutes maximum time, subject to compliance with applicable meeting rules.
Questions to the speaker or responses to the speaker's questions or comments
shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her comments. Public
Participation will be limited to sixty(60) minutes time.)

B. SCHEDULED ITEMS
1. Approval of Minutes
2. Introductory Presentations from Citizens Interested in Serving on HRC
Members of the public interested in serving on the HRC are invited to introduce
themselves to the Commissioners. This will assist the Commissioners in making
recommendations to City Council of filling vacancies on the Commission.
3. Discussion about Observance of Armenian Genocide Day
Follow-up on discussion from March 1, 2007 meeting about HRC's role in
observing Armenian Genocide Day in cooperation with the Public Library.
4. Discussion of HRC Role in Creation of a Citizen-Based Neighborhood
Watch program
As a follow-up to discussion from March 1, 2007 meeting, there will be a
continued discussion about the creation of a citizen-based neighborhood
watch program. Consideration will be given to information gained from
discussion of this item with Azusa Police Department.
C. REPORTS, UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM STAFF/COMMISSION
1. Coordinator's Update
HRC Coordinator will provide an update and information on the following:
a) Youth Conference planning
b) Information on term expiration dates for Commissioners (as requested
during March 1, 2007 meeting)
c) Copy of written guidelines governing HRC (also available on City's
website)
d) Information on procedures for appointing commissioner-at-large
2. Discussion of HRC Appointed Commissioner
Hear report from Commissioners regarding their follow-up on this item.
D. ADJOURNMENT
1. Adjourn.
