Westbrooks NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC Copies of staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item of business referred to on the Agenda are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection at the City Library. Persons who wish to speak during the Public Participation portion of the Agenda, shall fill out a card requesting to speak and shall submit it t the City Clerk prior to the start of the City Council meeting. When called, each person may address any item on or off the agenda during the public participation. CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE TO THE FLAG INVOCATION ROLL CALL A. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION (Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption up to five (5) minutes maximum time, subject to compliance with applicable meeting rules. Questions to the speaker or responses to the speaker's questions or comments shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her comments. Public Participation will be limited to sixty (60) minutes time.) B. SCHEDULED ITEMS Page 2 HRC Agenda March 27, 2007 1. Approval of Minutes 2. Follow up of HRC Work plan During this time the commission will follow up on the discussion of the HRC work plan from the previous HRC meeting. 3. Armenian Genocide Display During this time the commission with discuss creating a display in the Azusa City Library in honor of the Armenian Genocide. 4. AB 1234 Training All city staff and commissioners have to go though AB 1234 training. This has to be renewed every two years. The city will arrange a training for new commissions. Commissioners who have taken the training can renew online. C. REPORTS, UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM STAFF/COMMISSION 1. Subcommittee Updates a) Lead in Harmony b) Neighborhood Watch 2. Coordinator's Update HRC Coordinator will provide an update and information on the staff activities. D. ADJOURNMENT 1. Adjourn. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in a city meeting, please contact the Human Relations Coordinator at 626/812-3252. Notification three (3) working days prior to the meeting when special services are needed will assist staff in assuring that reasonable arrangements can be made to provide access to the meeting.
