NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC Copies of staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item of business referred to on the Agenda are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection at the City Library. Persons who wish to speak during the Public Participation portion of the Agenda, shall fill out a card requesting to speak and shall submit it to the City Clerk prior to the start of the City Council meeting. When called, each person may address any item on or off the agenda during the public participation. Questions to the speaker or responses to the speaker's questions or comments shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her comments. Civic Center Parking Lots At least 72 hours before a regular meeting, the legislative body of the local agency, or its designee, shall post an agenda containing a brief general description of each item of business to be transacted or discussed at the meeting, including items to be discussed in closed session. A brief general description of an item generally need not exceed 20 words. The agenda shall specify the time and location of the regular meeting and shall be posted in a location that is freely accessible to members of the public. No action or discussion shall be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except that members of a legislative body or its staff may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed by persons exercising their public testimony rights. H. ADJOURNMENT 1. Adjourn. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in this meeting, please contact the Public Works Department - Engineering Division, at (626) 812-5064. Notification of three (3) working days prior to the meeting when special services are needed, will assist staff in assuring that reasonable arrangements can be made to provide access to the meeting.
